Shit List

Thank you lars for the "shit list". Now I can write the "names" of people who bug, annoy, and ruin my suppose-to-be happy days.
And the number 1 name in my list: GIRLFRIEND. LOL:))

Being assuming

can kill.
I don't want to assume that "there is something" when there is none really.
Therefore, I'll have to wait for that "something" so that this "gray area" in my head will be cleared.

3 Years Na

Every year, when the months of July-September come, it's ARIBA TIME.
ARIBA TIME:
-Hell Weeks
->papers
->reports
->readings
->recitations
-YFC Sectorcon
->planning for a theme (carrier verse and "battle cry" of the sector)
->rallying/exciting the people
->"taking care" of the people
->getting/talking to possible sponsors
->basta... preparing an event that the YFCs will enjoy and will let them grow spiritually

Every week, there will be meetings for the Sectorcon. Every week, there will be readings.
So kamusta naman ako this year? Haha!
Spell MAGIS=JUNIOR YEAR.

I am Affected

I cried for a man I only knew for his great songs.
Michael Jackson.

I grew up listening to his songs from my dad's cassette tapes and my aunt's CDs.
I used to watch "Free Willy" over and over again because I loved the song "Will You be There" and the movie too.
I got super excited when he released the "Invincible" album. Can't imagine a man who had undergone so much operations and old can still dance like that. He was amazing in "You Rock My World". I used to listen to it over and over again.
My brother usually gets pissed of with me because I would play "They Don't Care About Us" every time I use the family PC. He would call me "adik".

Michael Jackson truly ROCKED my world as well as almost every person around the world.

As a small tribute to a great man, I changed my playlist to some of my favorite Michael Jackson songs.
"Rock With You" is my all time favorite Michael Jackson song. ^_^

TNT Magic

Last July 3-4, we had our OrSem: Est. 1859 and I was a TNT (Talks and Tours Facilitator).

My freshies, the LL block (Life Science) were really awesome. When we were on tours, they answered almost all of the questions by the tours committee correctly, except for two questions: 1. Why is Swine Flu called AH1N1? 2. What was the former name of the triangular plot near the faculty parking between Sec A and Gonzaga? The thing is, if the freshies were able to answer correctly, they get to draw on the faces of the tours committee person, but if they get the wrong answer, they have to draw on their TNT's faces. The freshies didn't want to draw on my face. Haha! But I told them I wanted to have the drawing too. :D Also, when they saw some of the actors in the O-Film, the girls were in their fangirling mode. Cute nila! haha!

By the end of Day 1, the girls were running way faster than me, and all of them (todos) were on their chairs dancing Chuga and Banana! I wanted to cry then, my hormones were on a high that day because my freshies were all active and game! Estaba emocionada entonces.

Day 2 of OrSem (the last day) my freshies finally mobed. After the last stop of the tours, when I told them to mobe for the last time, most of them ran like crazy people. Only 4 people were left behind, because they were super tired. So I told them that we will just do a "slow jog" so that we can get to the Cov Courts faster. And they slow jogged. Yey!
Before my partner and I left them for their O-Night, we gave them letters and candies. And they were telling us "Ate, don't leave us!" or "Stay!" I really did not want to leave them, but our TNT head was calling us for the Comm Dept. speech.

What is the "TNT Magic"? It is when your freshies tell you or make you feel that you are the best TNT to them. It is when your freshies tell you, "Thank you" for everything you did for their OrSem. It is when you are horribly tired, but your co-TNTs would encourage you to do more and dance more. It is when you learned to love your freshies and co-TNTs even for a short span of time.

Next year, I want to be a TNT again.^_^

Chuga on!

Kahit pagod ka na at masakit na katawan mo, go lang ng go!

Kapag tinanog sa'yo, "kaya pa?" Sisigaw ka dapat ng "woooh!!! kaya pa!!" kahit hindi na talaga.

The past weekends (last weekend and last last weekend) had been tiring. AS IN! Our trainings were ala "military" style. Commando crawl? Push-ups na naka-circle ung group. Tours (mobing around the campus). The World War (ultimate game) But despite the "harshness" of our training, it was absolutely fun! The people were crazy. Spell crazy->TNT.

Orsem na this Friday and Saturday, and I'm a bit scared. Hahaha! Baka maarte mga freshies ko.. :| Oh well. Chuga on pa rin!:)

Video by Gelo J. Naubos daw ung memory ng cam niya kaya fail...
One of the fun and crazy things we do in our trainings.
Enjoy!:)
