Vigan Weekend

"Bus-lag": I'm still sleepy and tired from the almost whole-day bus ride from Vigan to Manila yesterday.

Last weekend was a fun yet tiring weekend. We visited museums and museums and churches. Technically, it's a field trip, hence it was a bit (emphasis on the bit) boring. Estelle, Kim and I would usually tour the museums on our own, away from the class. And we ate local dishes: Bagnet, Longganisa Vigan, Vigan Torta, "Tinubo" or something like that. I love Longganisa Lucban more than the one in Vigan; it tastes better.

Vigan is small. Haha! I thought that the whole city would look more colonial, but there are business establishments and malls. We went to Chavit Singson's Baluarte, where we watched an animal show and had our picture taken with an orangutan.

The "Night Life" in Vigan is from 6-9pm. When we went out for dinner, there are only a handful of people on the street and some stores are already closed. As we were walking back to our hotel, we were the only people on the street, and it was only 8:40-is pm.

There'll always be Vigan... for Estelle! haha! Found no good-looking guys in Vigan. So we had to "make-do" with the people we were with: Sir Migs and friends. LOL
