The Challenge/Plan

My friend told me to write top 5 guys you don't want to date. And so far I have 3, but I need a more creative description and name for them.

Oh the things I do to get away from responsibilities :))

The BIG DREAM

"Palacio Real de Madrid"

Next year? Oh please please please :-)

Wednesday, November 10, 2010

To go or not?

If I go, then I'll be able to do some "soul-searching" and have an ultimate time. It will also mean, leaving a lot of responsibilities behind, and backing out on certain stuff.

If I stayed, then I will be able to do the things I need to do. But then, the "soul-searching" opportunity will be lost.

So what should I do? Time's running out.

Whatta sight!

Horribly embarrassed.

I blame our kasambahay for it.

Note: Don't leave your stuff for everyone to see.

Saturday, September 4, 2010

I'm scared.
I'm paranoid.
I'm tired.

Friday, August 27, 2010

I think I should be more:
-> trusting (and less doubtful)
-> open (Marcel: How far will you let them in?)
-> careful with what I say (hindi maganda ang pagiging taklesa)
-> loving (hugs hugs)

The Word's Watching

So yes, CNN and BBC covered the hostage taking that took place in Quirino Grandstand. It was embarrassing for the whole world saw how the policemen took several minutes before they can end the hostage. Go on twitter, and you will see people angry at the SWAT (what?) for being cowards. You'll also see people angry at the media for covering the whole thing when it was a high time of "crisis" - some people demanded for a news blackout.

It's SAD, really SAD.

I remember reading an article for my Theo class by Hutchcroft. He mentioned that there was this organization or something that said that "after Iraq, the Philippines is the scariest (or unsafe) place for journalist." or something like that. And now this:

Filipinos say they want to leave the country RIGHT NOW. Others claim that Filipinos are banned from HK or will be tortured and other "crazy" shizznit. Why can't they wait for official statements from authorities about those matters? They just cause panic and add to the "chaos" that the people are both doing/making and experiencing.

Sunday, August 22, 2010

Being horribly angry will only lead to bad bad headaches.

I don't want to this to ever happen again.

Trabajo y Responsibilidades

I wish that the "people" KNOW that their jobs and responsibilities are very important. The little selfish actions affect the "greater picture/scheme of life".

I am tired of hearing reasons after reasons. Look, I'm busy too! But I do my job.

I hope that the enormity of the responsibility given to them will be realized.

A Tear Fell

Finished watching the 4th season of Ugly Betty
ugly-betty

I remember, after season 2 I said I want a Daniel Meade of my own, after the last season, I still want a Daniel Meade. :D
I'm still in my post-I'm-still-sad-over-the-finale moment, and I want more Ugly Betty. hahaha! It's my FAVORITE show! Ok maybe ang babaw, BUT BUT Ugly Betty is really adorable and I absolutely love Wilhelmina's and Mark's characters.

If they (who they are) will turn this into a movie, I would definitely watch it :D

Friday, August 13, 2010

I want to cry :(
I'm failing my 2 core subjects. And it's scarier now, because I want and HAVE to graduate on time

Table for Two

10
"When you think about it, everything is fleeting. Every second of every minute of every hour. The race and the rush and the choices and the chances. The love that grazed your fingertips, possibilities that brushed past you on your way out of work or play or save the world, a happy ending you have believed in with a faith beyond anything you could have imagined you were capable of. We shove each other for space, we lament the loss of time as we scatter it throughout the vast landscape of our lives. When we count the broken pieces, we realize that we will not be here forever, so we chase after these moments, seize them, and try to make them last and last and last. But maybe the best that we can do is to understand that there is one thing in particular that should always come first."
Table for Two - Marla Miniano

Quiero...

I want more free time :) So that I can finish Ugly Betty season 4 and True Blood season 2.

I want rest :) Tired and bordering burnout-ness. School plus extra-curricular stuff. Oh! And "taking care" of people is not an easy task. Promise!

I want courage, so that I can fulfill my Senior Bucket List. :D

I want discipline, so that I will stick to a diet plan. Hello fats, be gone! :))

Coastline

Windmills

Pagudpud beach
Pagudpud's not really my favourite beach; I love Bohol more. :D But the waves were awesome.

"Heartbreaker, you got the best of me
But I just keep on coming back incessantly
Oh why, did you have to run your game on me
I should have known right from the start
You'd go and break my heart"

Dirty Finger: the Future Begins with Me

I have a dirty finger. Ha! My nail looks dead because of the purple and red colors.

I voted yesterday for the TRANSFORMERS: Dick Gordon and Bayani Fernando. (Don't judge me!) I believe in strong political will and firm platforms. Yes, Gordon bad mouths some of this opponents, but he is a frank leader, which I think the Philippines need. With him, I believe the Philippines will really WORK HARD to achieve a good reputation.

BUT!!

This morning, he conceded to Noynoy (que mal). Well, it's pretty obvious that he won't win (ranking only 6th). If Noynoy wins, then I hope that the Philippines will be in a better state.

HELL NO to ERAP as president. Seriously people, how can you put someone who was a CRIMINAL. I repeat a CRIMINAL!!!
Where's the maturity of the people? Nada. Que raro!

I'm still hoping for a better Philippines :) And I believe that this is possible by following Pinoy Lacson's 12 Little Things Every Filipino Can Do To Help Our Country:
  1. Follow traffic rules. Follow the law.
  2. Whenever you buy or pay for anything, always ask for an official receipt.
  3. Don’t buy smuggled goods. Buy local. Buy Filipino.
  4. When you talk to others, especially foreigners speak positively about us and our country.
  5. Respect your traffic officer, policeman and soldier.
  6. Do not litter. Dispose your garbage properly. Segregate. Recycle. Conserve.
  7. Support your church.
  8. During elections, do your solemn duty. ---> YUP! I did! :-) Mom even volunteered me and my brother to be part of PPCRV
  9. Pay your employees well.
  10. Pay your taxes.
  11. Adopt a scholar or a poor child.
  12. Be a good parent. Teach your kids to follow the law and love our country.

Hello blog

I haven't seen you for a long time :D

I have an OJT interview on Friday, and I am super nervous. My Spanish skills might fail me. And I don't have anything to wear yet.

Sunday, January 31, 2010

Guessing can be fun. But there are times when it isn't.

Inconsistency makes me go crazy.

Too much guessing and over-thinking is not good to my health, or to anyone, I suppose.

From West to East: Hello India!

I think this is the first time that I have researched on an "academical" matter that's not required. And that seems too nerdy for me. Normally, I would web-surf through my favorite sites (like stumbleupon.com) period.
Though I am pressured (now) because of the MUN later, reading shizz in the internet about India's state-sponsored terrorism and it's seemingly vague counter-terrorism movements, I realized that the Philippines is not the worse country when it comes to terrorist acts. In Northern Ireland, they have "almost" yearly attacks from the smaller rebellious groups originally part of the IRA. And people from India, I realized are very in touch with their religion, and the terrorist attacks that are happening there are not only between Hindus and Muslims, but also between Maoist Indians and some tribal Indians - Naxalite Rebellion.

Ok! Enough of the nerdiness. Hahaha!

On a brighter note. I am happy that the "Tunay na Lalake" blog is back! :D

*BIG SMILE*

HALLELUJAH!

We have 4 speakers tomorrow for the OJT Orientation. Gosh! I can't believe it :) We crammed everything and now, we have 4 speakers. And if the Italian Embassy person says "Yes" today, SUPER AWESOME na talaga. =D

Wow! Thanks for the awesome blessings! =D

Pablo Neruda said, "Sabras que no te amo..."
But I want to add, y yo no quiero el amor... ahora.

The Backstreet Boys sang, "I think I want to stay single..."
And I want to add, for now, yes :-)

I choose freedom and happiness :-)

(ok, so maybe BSB's "Bye Bye Love" is my current LSS, that's why I want to have an entry with my "favorite" line from their song :D)

Tokio Hotel

Because I watched MYX Presents: Tokio Hotel the other day before going to school, now I am fan. :D But I already have "Automatic" since last year, because na-LSS ako for sometime. Though I have not downloaded their other English songs, I've been watching Tokio Hotel TV. And I swear, Bill and Tom Kaulitz are so cute. It's like Bill is the "girl" and Tom is well a boy. Gets? Ang cute talaga nila :)

I have been telling my mom that I want to learn German, since last year. And she would tell me that I can take German after I graduate, so that I won't get "confused" while studying Spanish. Ok, thanks Ma. I kind of regret now that I took Spanish, because I have aunts who told me that if I want to work in Europe, especially in North Europe, I should now German. Well, according to them, that is. And now, with my new "fangirl-ing item", my desire to study German is more pumped up.

Avatar

I watched Avatar with my brothers yesterday. The movie "experience" would have been great if we didn't watch in Mega. A ticket costs Php170 and the cinema was dirty. Popcorn sa floor, empty bottles, straw. Mej-BV yon.

But the movie is GREAT. Because...
1. I remembered a topic in His18.2. Native Americans. The Navi People sort of looked like the Native Americans (me thinks yes). They were sent to reservoirs (in the movie, they were forced to go somewhere else), some were killed. Ok, so mej naiyak ako when the Tree fell and the daughter (I forget the name) was wailing because her father died, and because of the lost her People are experiencing.

2. The military dude, the coronel "embodied" his country well. :-) Super America. :-)

3. Environmental shizz. Some people destroy lands to get what they "thought" would make them rich. Let's make Mother Nature happy :-)

4. Diplomacy is... well hard. Conflicting ideas, culture, threatening presence, interests. Since it's hard and slow, some people, like the military dude would resort to violent means to get what they want.

5. Final Fantasy-ish :-) I am a fan of FF, but not a big gamer geek. Haha! I've played FF8-FFxi (thanks to my brothers). I was half wishing that a "chocobo" will appear in the forest. Para fun :-) ok, super loser ng dating nun. But the animals and the scenery were amazing, especially when it's night time. Everything's glow in the dark. Cool! :-)

I just realized that Michael Jackson's Earth Song perfectly fits the part when the military men were firing/bombing the Tree.

I want to watch Avatar again :-) Super awesome movie!

License

My license to do super childish and horribly crazy things is near its expiration date. Or can I extend it until... I want to? haha!

On a more "real" matter... My driver's license is about to expire. And honestly, I have not driven on my own since I got it. Thanks to some people, my confidence in driving is crushed. *sigh* And dad won't even make me "test drive" his new car, kahit sa village lang. So technically, my license is for identification purposes na lang. *sigh more*
